Interim Assistant Principal
WELCOME To The 2018-2019 School Year
On behalf of the faculty and staff at Powell County Middle School, I would like to welcome you to our school and our school web site. We are all so excited about the new school year. Through high expectations, motivation, a challenging curriculum, and a positive and safe school environment, we know our students will achieve success. As the principal at Powell County Middle, I truly believe that the success of our students evolves from a strong relationship between the school, students, parents, and the community. I encourage you to become involved in your school and express any concerns and/or ideas with me. Together, we will achieve success!
I am so excited to serve you as the Powell County Middle School Principal. I'm ready for a wonderful school year and look forward to working with the students, parents and staff of PCMS! This is going to be a great experience full of learning and fun!
To tell you a little about myself, I am very blessed with a loving husband and two rambunctious children that keep me busy. My husband, Steve Randall, owns his own HVAC and mechanical business. We had our first child in 2013. His name is Jett Allen Wayne Randall and he is as wild as they come! Steve and I were blessed with our second child in 2015. Her name is Lexi Catelynn Renea Randall. She is the polar opposite of her brother because she is very laid back and quiet. We also have a Boxer named Major and a Goldendoodle named Captain.
I graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2010 with my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education (Go CATS!!!). I then went on to further my education at the University of the Cumberlands and received my Master's Degree in Teacher Leadership, my Rank 1 and Education Specialist Degree in Instructional Leadership, and my Principal Certification as well. I taught for six years at Clay City Elementary and made the move to PCMS last year as Assistant Principal. This will be my first year as Principal. I have learned so much and continue to learn. I am so eager to go on this journey as a Pirate and push our students to be their very best!
I can't wait to have a great year here at Powell County Middle School! If you ever need me, feel free to contact me. I will do everything I can to address any questions or concerns that you may have. GO PIRATES!
