My name is Amy Fields and I am a Language Arts Title 1 teacher. I will be working in each 4th and 5th grade reading class this year to work with small groups, do one-on-one interventions, and pull RTI groups for instruction and progress monitoring.
I am a graduate of Powell County High School and Eastern Kentucky University. I have a degree in both Child Development and Elementary Education. I have been married to my husband Bryan for 25 years and we have two children, Justin and Sarah. This makes my 16th year teaching at Clay City Elementary. I taught 1st grade for two years, 2nd grade for two years, 4th grade for five years, and this makes my seventh year in Title 1. I absolutely love what I do and I am looking forward to working closely with students this year as they learn new strategies to help make them stronger life long readers. If you have any questions or concerns regarding Title 1 or the RTI process, feel free to e-mail me anytime.
