Title VI-B

The Rural and Low-Income School Program, Title VI-B(2) of the federal No Child Left Behind Act of 2001, is designed to meet the needs of rural, low-income school districts that frequently lack the personnel and resources needed to compete for federal competitive grants. Title VI-B provides additional funds and flexibility in the use of certain federal funds within small, rural districts, offering a variety of services that creates instructional equity.
