LAW, PUBLIC SAFETY, CORRECTIONS & SECURITY PROGRAM OF STUDY: Law Enforcement Services Pathway
Within the Law, Public Safety, Corrections, and Security Program of Study, Powell County High School offers the Law Enforcement Services Pathway. The pathway prepares individuals to perform the duties of police and public safety officers, including patrol and investigative activities, traffic control, crowd control and public relations, witness interviewing, evidence collection and management, basic crime prevention methods, weapon and equipment operation and maintenance, report preparation, communicating with the public, and other routine law enforcement responsibilities.
