Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment
The vision of the Office of Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment is to ensure that every student receives exceptional instruction, equipping them with the skills and knowledge necessary for success in their educational journey. Our responsibilities encompass a wide range of critical areas including curriculum development, instructional strategies, assessment methods, school and district improvement initiatives, professional development programs, textbook selection, and provision of gifted and talented services.
Moreover, we are committed to effective resource allocation and oversight, managing Title II Part A funds, guiding the KDE Math Pilot program, coordinating Extended School Services (ESS), and monitoring EILA hour tracking for administrators. Through these comprehensive efforts, we strive to create an educational environment where excellence is the norm, and every student has the opportunity to thrive.
