Principal’s Message

 

As principal of Clay City Elementary, it is my pleasure to welcome you to the 2022-2023 school year.  We are all excited for a new school year.  It is our mission to provide our students with a high quality education and welcoming, nurturing learning environment each day.  We look forward to partnering with you to achieve this.

 

We know each student is an individual, bringing unique talents and needs to school every day.  We pride ourselves in the opportunities that we have available to help each and every student child succeed.  These opportunities are included in our academic curriculum and instruction, which ensure each child is challenged appropriately while building a foundation of knowledge and skills. 

Families and community members play a critical role as partners in supporting both your students at home and work in the schools.  We look forward to working with you throughout the year to make important decisions that affect both your child as an individual and the school as a whole.  As a start to this partnership, we hope you will join the PTA, attend SBDM Council meetings that take place on the first Tuesday of every month at 4:00 p.m., and volunteer whenever possible in school activities. 

Clay City Elementary is a wonderful learning community.  We feel so privileged to be a part of it.  This is a very special place, and we appreciate the trust you have shown in us by sending your children here every day.  We will do our best to ensure they have a fulfilling, happy and safe year.
